Description

One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a simple and comforting skillet meal featuring tender seared chicken breasts cooked with buttery garlic noodles in a rich broth.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Chop garlic and prepare ingredients.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and sear chicken for 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Add egg noodles and simmer for 8–10 minutes until tender.
  7. Return chicken to skillet and heat through.
  8. Stir in remaining butter until melted.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for a faster version.
  • Add spinach or peas for extra vegetables.
  • Do not overcook noodles to keep texture firm.
