Description
One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a simple and comforting skillet meal featuring tender seared chicken breasts cooked with buttery garlic noodles in a rich broth.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Chop garlic and prepare ingredients.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter and sear chicken for 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add egg noodles and simmer for 8–10 minutes until tender.
- Return chicken to skillet and heat through.
- Stir in remaining butter until melted.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for a faster version.
- Add spinach or peas for extra vegetables.
- Do not overcook noodles to keep texture firm.
