Ingredients
- 4 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Optional: Tomato slices
Instructions
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half without cutting all the way through.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and spread butter inside each roll.
- Place the bottom half of a roll on the skillet or griddle and fill with cheese. Press lightly with the top half.
- Grill until golden brown, about 3–4 minutes per side, turning carefully.
- Once both sides are crisp and the cheese is melted, remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.
